I found this book through the author after asking around questions about werewolves and mates. It’s a great find, though I’m not a fan of the cover. It doesn’t scream out to me. The guy looks more like a vampire. But, don’t let the cover stop you from enjoying it.
The book is interesting because it’s different from the other books that I read about witches. The main character is running from blood witches and invokes the Wild Hunt which ends up with her finding out that she has a mate. The characters are well developed and I liked reading about how the wolves run.
I recommend this book to readers who like reading about werewolves and witches. It’s for 18+ readers.

Witch Hunt begins with something horrible happening to Rei and her brother. Then six months later Rei is still on the run for her life from some blood witches. But when Rei ends up running into Aidan, a werewolf, who claims to be her mate. Her problems get a whole lot more complicated.
Aidan never expected to find his mate so soon, and now that he has he can't seem to let her go. But he never expected for her to be on the run and having very dangerous people coming after her..
This book really surprised me. It starts off with a bang, that has you wanting to figure out what is going to happen next and ends with an happily ever after! This is a awesome paranormal romance, filled with drama, action, and love. This story was exciting, slightly suspenseful, and had some nice romance. It's all you could need in a werewolf/witches story.
The only thing I didn't like was sometimes it felt as if I didn't really have a connect to the characters, other than that it was very good.
Rei is on the run from a coven that wants to take her powers and kill her. They already killed her brother, but his death enabled her to get away from them. Rei is a powerful earth witch who has steadily moved closer to a werewolf pack. Rei is a strong woman who tries to do the right thing and not get anyone hurt along the way.
Aidan is one of alphas of the local werewolf pack. He has not had time to look for a mate with trying to get the mate of his late brother to realize that he is not her mate. At first sight of Rei is recognized that she is his mate and that brings tons of additional trouble.
The chemistry between Aidan and Rei is blazing. Aidan does everything possible to balance protecting Rei and the pack with proving that Aidan is strong enough to fight this coven. The sex scenes were scorching.
I found this book to be well written. The main and secondary characters are interesting and realistic. I hope that this becomes a series because I would love to see some of the secondary characters get their own books. Overall this was a great book that I enjoyed reading.
